Being Miss Massachusetts was never part of Perianne Caron鈥檚 plan鈥攈er friends on the Celtics鈥 dance teams encouraged her to enter the pageant, and she just happened to win. 鈥淚t was an out-of-body experience,鈥 says Caron, who took home the top prize at the 2025 Miss Massachusetts USA pageant. 鈥淚 kept thinking, 鈥榃hat am I doing here?鈥 But in the best way."
Suddenly, Caron鈥檚 weekends were filled with parades, 5k races to fight hunger and disease, and other events around the state, all while donning her crown. But even during her whirlwind reign, on many weeknights Caron could still be found in her sweatpants in Fulton Hall, working to finish her MSF.

When she started the finance program in 2023, Caron鈥檚 plan was to pivot from her then job in investment marketing to something more research focused within the field, but the adventure of serving as Miss Massachusetts and competing for Miss USA last fall enlarged her idea of what鈥檚 possible.
As she passes on her crown to the next reigning queen, Caron looks to use what she鈥檚 learned鈥攂oth in the classroom and through the pageants鈥攖o pursue newfound dreams of fashion entrepreneurship instead. 鈥淭his journey has brought out a higher level of confidence in myself,鈥 she says. 鈥淸It鈥檚] shown me that I have something to share with the world.鈥澨
